If interested in taking the Refuge Vow IN FALL 2023, contact us here with dates/times you are available to discuss.

ABOUT

The Refuge Vow (Dates to be announced) Anyone may attend - vow takers, vow renewers, and witnesses. Only people taking the vow for the first time will receive a Buddhist refuge name and certificate.
The Bodhisattva Vow (Dates to be announced) . Only people who have taken or are taking this vow may attend, and only people taking the vow for the first time will receive a Buddhist bodhisattva name and certificate.
Pre-requisites:
- A conversation with John Baker, in person, by phone, or Zoom. Schedule below
- The appropriate reading by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche in The Refuge Vow: A Sourcebook or The Bodhisattva Vow: A Sourcebook.
- Attend a two-hour class on the vow you are taking and the reading.

Note: Requirement for the Bodhisattva Vow - you need to have taken the Refuge Vow at least three months earlier. Both vows are prerequisite to beginning Vajrayana practice.
